This course introduces students to energy efficiency through examination of climatology, climate change, energy efficiency, and energy efficient practices. Students will learn to read EnerGuide labels that can be found on appliances and in home energy audits to better inform themselves of energy usage and consider alternatives to current practices. By the end of this course, participants will have a foundational understanding of the need for energy efficiency and how they can contribute to positive environmental action and become more self-reliant in the process.
