This course covers the use of units and dimensions in food processing calculation, the methods of solving simple equation and simultaneous equations, the organization and graphical presentation of data in Excel spreadsheet, and the introduction of basic statistics including the central tendency and spread variation. The course also explain the derivative, differentiation rules, the integration, anti-derivatives process, definite integral, area under the curve and other applications of the definite integral. Prepare students with the model development techniques including generate logarithmic/ semi logarithmic graphs and straight line equation curve fitting.
