In this course, you will learn strategies for working with Adult Literacy Learners to build on existing Oral Communication Skills.

There are five modules in this course:

  • The Building Blocks of Oral Language (1 hr)
  • Creating Safe Spaces (1.5 hrs)
  • Active Listening Skills (1.5 hrs)
  • Teaching Communication Skills (2.5 hrs)
  • Teaching Self-advocacy Skills (2.5 hrs)
